How much do Facebook ads cost in India?

There is no fixed price. Meta runs an auction, so you pay what it takes to beat other advertisers for the same people. What you control is the budget; the calculator turns that budget into an estimate using three numbers: CPM (what 1,000 impressions cost), CTR (how many people click) and conversion rate (how many clicks turn into leads or sales).

What the numbers mean

GST on Meta ads

Meta adds 18% GST on top of your ad spend for Indian advertisers. A ₹15,000 monthly budget therefore costs ₹17,700. Businesses registered under GST can claim this back as input tax credit, so add your GSTIN in Ads Manager under Payment settings.

Frequently asked questions

How much do Facebook ads cost per day in India?

You set the budget yourself, and Meta allows very small daily amounts. A very small budget may not get enough results for Meta's system to learn from, so as a rule of thumb test with at least a few hundred rupees a day. The right number depends on your cost per lead and how many leads you can handle.

How much do Facebook ads cost per month in India?

At ₹500 per day a month costs about ₹15,000 plus 18% GST, so roughly ₹17,700. At ₹1,000 per day it is about ₹30,000 plus GST. Use the calculator above to see what that budget buys in impressions, clicks and leads.

Is GST charged on Facebook and Instagram ads in India?

Yes. Meta charges 18% GST on ad spend for advertisers with an Indian billing address. If your business has a GSTIN, add it to your ad account so the invoice shows it and you can claim input tax credit.

What is a good CPC for Facebook ads in India?

Published figures for India are around $0.11–$0.15 per click (roughly ₹9–₹13). As a rough rule of thumb, a CPC under ₹10 is good, and one above ₹30 suggests the audience, creative or landing page needs work. Cost per lead matters more than cost per click.

Are Instagram ads more expensive than Facebook ads in India?

Often, yes. One Indian agency publishes CPM ranges of ₹30–₹120 for Facebook and ₹50–₹180 for Instagram, though we could not verify those figures independently. Compare both in your own account by running both placements and checking the placement breakdown in Ads Manager.
